How TradeReady works

  1. Fill in your practice record. It lists the tasks on the Skills Progress Report from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA). Mark each task Yes, No or Not yet.

  2. See what you haven't practised. For the tasks you marked Yes, see the lessons and quizzes you haven't done yet. See what you got wrong last time, too.

  3. Rehearse the questions about what you've done. The assessor asks about the work you say you have done. Say your answer out loud. Then check it against a model answer.

  4. Ask your supervisor for what's missing. For each task marked Not yet, ask your supervisor for a chance to do it on the job.
