Who you are dealing with

TradeReady is run by Kawaljeet Singh, a sole trader trading as Become TradeReady. There is no company behind it. Contact: support@becometradeready.com.au.

By creating an account or buying a course, you agree to these terms.

What TradeReady is — and what it is not

TradeReady sells preparation material: lesson notes, tool guides, practice questions and revision material for people getting ready for a Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) Job Ready Program workplace assessment.

Read this part carefully, because it is the part people most often get wrong:

• We are not a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We do not issue accredited qualifications, statements of attainment, or anything recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
• We are not TRA, and we are not connected to TRA. Nothing here is official TRA guidance, and nothing we say binds an assessor.
• TradeReady does not provide migration or visa advice. Nothing you read here, and nothing anyone says to you in a TradeReady lesson, workshop or support email, is immigration assistance or advice about your visa. If you want advice about your visa or your migration pathway, that is a separate matter for a registered migration agent, engaged separately for that purpose. Buying a course does not engage anyone as your migration agent, and paying for a course buys you preparation material and nothing else.
• Our practice questions are written by us. They are not real assessment questions and we do not have copies of real assessment papers.
• Buying a course does not mean you will pass. We do not promise a result. What you get is practice material and the time to use it.

If anything on this site ever reads as though we are promising a qualification, a visa outcome, or a pass, that is a mistake on our part — tell us and we will fix it.

Your account

One person per account. An account is for you. Do not share your login, and do not let anyone else use it. If we see one account being used by several people, we may suspend it.

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.

You need to give us a real name and a working email address. We use the email address to send you your invoice, your receipt, and anything you need to know about your access.

What you can do with the material

A course costs AUD $100 per trade and gives you 30 days of access from when we turn it on.

You may: read the lessons, use the quizzes and revision tools, and print or save material for your own study.

You may not:

• share, resell, publish or redistribute the lessons, practice questions, tool guides or revision material — anywhere, to anyone, paid or free;
• copy the material into another course, a study group pack, a social media post, a messaging group or a file-sharing site;
• use automated tools to bulk-download the site;
• remove or hide our name from anything you have saved.

The material is ours and stays ours. You are buying access to study from it, not ownership of it.

We take this seriously for a plain reason: this is one person's work, sold at a low price, and a single leaked copy passed round a group is the difference between this existing and not.

Workshops

Workshop seats are sold separately and are subject to the same terms plus the Refunds and Cancellations policy.

Workshops involve hands-on work with tools. You must follow the safety directions given on the day and wear the personal protective equipment we tell you to wear. We can ask you to leave, without a refund, if you will not work safely.

Paying

We invoice you and you pay by bank transfer. Access is turned on once we see the payment. Put your invoice reference in the transfer description so we can match it — without it, we may not find your payment.

When things go wrong

We try to keep the site up and the material accurate, but we do not promise the site will always be available, or free of errors. If you find something wrong in a lesson, tell us — we would rather know.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. See Refunds and Cancellations for how that works alongside our own rules.

Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it supplied again. Where the law does not allow that — which includes most services bought for personal use — your full rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply and this paragraph does not cut them down.

Suspending an account

We may suspend or close an account that shares logins, redistributes our material, or abuses other users or us.

We will tell you why, and — unless the breach is serious or deliberate — we will give you a chance to put it right first. If we close an account for a serious or repeated breach, we are not required to refund the unused part of your access. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still stand, and if you think we have got it wrong, email us and we will look at it again.

Changing these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when this version took effect. If a change matters to you — price, access period, or what you may do with the material — we will email people with active access before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state.
